It's Launched!

Hello Everybody,

It's finally happened - HTML5 has landed!

No lights, cameras or fireworks for Newlaunch 'Mark 2', but happiness all around, following the launch on September 4th.

Personally, I think it's well worth the wait, but nevertheless I am sending out a(another) big apology and huge thanks to the users and subscribers who stuck with us during the delay.

I'm also very excited about welcoming new users - who can start building their own free website in literally five minutes with no need to learn complicated web design skills.

Everything is provided for you to create your own unique website, including a free subdomain (e.g. joeblogs.newlaunch.net) which you can update with your own domain plus hosting.

Whether you just want a single page or a site running into hundreds of pages, we have a template to suit. Each one can be changed by simply dragging and dropping the 'floating' elements, to create a website as unique as you and your idea.

With all this in place, the only other things you need are words, images, imagination and a little patience!

Give us a try and let us know when you've launched your Newlaunch website. We'll soon be featuring a selection of the best on a weekly basis on the Newlaunch website.

There are plans in the pipeline for new features aimed at providing tips and tools on how to launch a successful project, product or business, aimed at 'solopreneurs', not-for-profits, small businesses and other organisations.

Below is an image with a snapshot of some of the ideas 'brainstormed' over the last year.

It's a work-in-progress and not everything will be put on the Newlaunch website. Much of it depends on what our users want.

See you online...

Tiny delay for HTML5

Many apologies, folks - we were all geared up for the launch of HTML5, but our Quality Assurance team encountered a few challenges which have now been overcome (yay!)

It's all due to be rolled out from 11am GMT.

We're not the first to offer it - not by a long shot, but what we've done is to keep the easy-peasy drag-and-drop simplicity of building a website using Newlaunch SiteMaker while making sure that all sites (whether free or premium) can be viewed on any device.

I'll post the details when it's all up and running, but for now, I'd like to thank our loyal customers for their patience which will be rewarded with great new templates and our plans to provide our users with loads of information to help them make their web business a success.

See you online!

Seltzer and the Newlaunch team

Sunday 1 September 2013

Hello,

Welcome to Newlaunch.net - an online do-it-yourself website builder aimed at people with no design or technical skills.

With the Newlaunch Sitemaker, you can be up and running in a few minutes. All you need is some words, images and lots of enthusiasm.

There's a 14 day free trial after which you can keep the site for free or upgrade to one of our premium packages which are so low in price, that you have to see them to believe it!

We think that Newlaunch is the easiest way for complete beginners to create their own professional-quality website, but if you feel you need training, we can teach you how to set up
quickly.

From September 3rd, Newlaunch will be introducing HTML5 websites which load quickly and are great for viewing on iPads and other tabelt devices.

Here's a snapshot of features which differ from the standard Flash features the details of which are outlined below:

*HTML5
*Mobile optimised
*ShopBuilder
*Image Gallery
*YouTube Player

As ever, our development team is working on improvements. News of new features will be posted on this blog.

Enough from me for now.

It's time to get started...

Best,

Seltzer and the team.
